Description
1966 Fender Electric XII - Sunburst1966 Fender Electric XII in very good condition. This is the same model used on Stairway to Heaven and countless other famous records. This guitar is 100% original and one of the early ones without neck binding. Pots date to the end of '65 and neck date is early '66. No issues at all, plays and sounds great after its recent pro setup. The finish has a few dings and some cool checking that is hard to photograph. Comes with a very nice newer hard case.

This guitar was just pro setup and it plays/sounds great
Euro spruce top with maple back and sides
and selenium rectifier diode disconnected and replaced
The bridge pickup mounting screws are not original and the holes had to be plugged and redrilled
Brazilian rosewood back
The back has light overspray in the belt buckle rash area
Both are in excellent condition
Finish is in excellent shape with one small area of wear on back of neck
Minor fretwear on the first 4-5 frets
